What volcanologists call "geothermal anomalies" originate along Timanfaya; This means that unusual temperatures may occur on the surface from underground.
The entrance includes the Geothermal demonstrations and the Bus inside the Park that travels the so-called route of the mountains of fire. Just after passing the ticket office you end up in a parking lot which is where the buses leave from.
The camel ride takes place in what is known as Hechadero de los Camellos, this is before the ticket offices of the Timanfaya National Park and has nothing to do with the entrance to the park, since the entrance is not needed to take the ride.
